<strong data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"998\">Capo Vite<\/strong>, a headland on the island&#8217;s north-eastern coast that marks the transition between the Gulf of Portoferraio and Elba&#8217;s beyond <strong data-start=\"138\" data-end=\"151\">Capo Vite<\/strong> lie the beaches of <strong data-start=\"171\" data-end=\"188\">Cala Seregola<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"193\" data-end=\"206\">Topinetti<\/strong>, famous for their <strong data-start=\"225\" data-end=\"250\">dark, shimmering sand<\/strong>\u2014a unique colour created by the iron-rich minerals in the soil, a legacy of Elba&#8217;s mining history. They are located about <strong data-start=\"372\" data-end=\"402\">14 km (7.5 nautical miles)<\/strong> from Bagnaia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-99308d1 elementor-widget-laptop__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"99308d1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 style=\"color: #d9010c;\">Terranera<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-06abc38 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"06abc38\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Further south, about <strong data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"493\">23 km (12.5 nautical miles)<\/strong> from Bagnaia, lies <strong data-start=\"513\" data-end=\"532\">Terranera Beach<\/strong>. Behind the beach is a small emerald-green sulphur lake, separated from the sea by a narrow strip of pebbles.
