The Island of Elba, the third largest island in Italy, boasts 147 km of coastline, with wide bays, secluded coves, sandy beaches and distinctive pebble beaches. Exploring it by sea is the best way to experience its incredible variety. Our boat rental base, located in Bagnaia in the Gulf of Portoferraio, gives you complete freedom to explore: choose your boat, your route and your departure time.
Dinghies with engines up to 40 HP, accommodating 4 to 8 people, ideal for comfortably exploring the Gulf of Portoferraio and reaching the beaches along the northern coast.
Three more powerful dinghies equipped with 150 to 300 HP engines, accommodating up to 12 people – perfect for larger groups and for exploring even the most remote parts of the island.
If you’d rather relax and enjoy the sea without worrying about navigation, one of our experienced skippers can accompany you. An ideal option for those with little or no boating experience.
Upon request, we can deliver your boat directly near your accommodation, whether you’re staying at a hotel, residence, campsite or holiday apartment.

OUR TEAM
Behind the Rent Boat Bagnaia name is a small team of experienced sea professionals: some take care of maintaining our fleet, others welcome guests and provide the pre-departure briefing, while others manage bookings and assist customers before they arrive. We are local people who know the sea around the Island of Elba because we live it every day. When you set off on one of our RIBs, you’re departing with a team that knows every sheltered bay, every change in the wind, and every hidden cove where you can enjoy a swim away from the crowds.
