Bagnaia is a small seaside village in the municipality of Portoferraio, about 10 km from the town centre and around a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal. The village overlooks a sheltered bay with a light pebble beach and gently sloping seabed, making it one of the quietest and least crowded spots on the island’s northern coast.
How to get here by car
From the Portoferraio ferry terminal:
Leave the port following the signs for Bagnaia / Magazzini / Ottone.
Continue along the SP24, then take the SP26 heading east.
After approximately 10 km, turn towards Bagnaia and follow the road downhill to the seafront.
Park in one of the public car parks near Bagnaia Beach.
Average journey time: 15–20 minutes from the Portoferraio ferry terminal.
